This is fucking ridiculous. Ever since the ESRB announced today that GTA: San Andreas now has an Adults Only rating, every fucking store is pulling it off their shelves since they refuse to sell "Adults Only" content. We had an emergency phone call from our district manager today telling us to take all our copies off the shelves since "We're a family oriented business." What a load of bullshit.

I'm going to run out tomorrow and see if I can buy it before it's too late.

Edit: I almost think this was a marketing ploy to boost sales, but I think Rockstar has alot more to lose than they do to gain from this. But as they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

I'm sure games stores with still sell it, I mean their not going to withdraw something they can (and will) make money on at the end of the day. That's if everyone hasn't allready bought it, I haven't sold a copy in aaages. It's been out what? nearly 9 months now.

Yeah well the Xbox and PC versions just came out last month. And I checked around today, everyone has pulled it off their shelves. Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Circuit City are now refusing to sell it until Rockstar releases an edited version. Electronics Boutique has pulled them all until they can re-label them with an AO rating, but they won't sell any until the games have all been restickered.

Was hoping to see you online today, maybe I'll catch you tomorrow afternoon before I have to go to work.
